The deadline to register with the Faculty of Physician Associates for the May 2024 Physician Associate National Examination (PANE) is approaching fast.
The PANE is open to graduates of UK university postgraduate programs in Physician Associate Studies. Developed and delivered by the Assessment Unit on behalf of the Royal College of Physicians (RCP), the PANE is a mandatory requirement for all PA students who have completed a UK university postgraduate program in Physician Associate Studies.
The PANE consists of two parts:
- A 200-question, single best answer, online Knowledge-Based Assessment (KBA)
- A 14-station Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) held at The Spine in Liverpool
Students who are eligible to take the PANE are encouraged to register as soon as possible to avoid missing the deadline. The registration window closes at midnight on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
All applications must be submitted online during the designated application period. Candidates will be able to select the specific assessment components (KBA or OSCE or both) they wish to register for during the application process. Payment by credit or debit card is required at the time of application.
The FPA encourages students to utilize its free PA question bank, as a valuable resource available to student members, to help prepare for the PANE.
