The Faculty of Physician Associates has announced the rescheduled date for its annual general meeting (AGM).

Originally planned for earlier this year, the FPARCP has confirmed that the AGM will now be held virtually on Monday, April 29th, 2024.

The postponement came after the recent Extraordinary General Meeting at the Royal College of Physicians regarding physician associates. This rescheduling ensures the FPA AGM can provide the most up-to-date information and address any concerns arising from the RCP meeting.

The AGM is a free, virtual event exclusively for FPA members. It presents a crucial opportunity for members to:

  • Hear directly from the FPA Board on the past year’s accomplishments and strategic direction.
  • Gain insights into the FPA’s key objectives and plans for 2024 and beyond, particularly regarding member support and guidance.
  • Engage with the FPA Board through a live Q&A session.

Registration for the AGM is now open. FPA members are encouraged to submit any questions they may have for the Board or general concerns before the meeting, via a link sent to them on email from the FPARCP directly.

Due to the virtual format, members from across the UK can easily attend and participate. To register, members must use the email address associated with their MyRCP account. Only valid FPA memberships will be eligible for registration.

The AGM Agenda is expected to cover

  • Review of 2023: Achievements and Progress Made Against the FPA Strategy
  • Plans for 2024 and Beyond: Exploring the FPA’s Key Aims and Objectives
  • Q&A Session: Addressing Questions from FPA Members

Members will be able to access addresses and updates from the FPA Board via a one-way video stream, followed by a live Q&A session.

To attend, members will require a suitable electronic device with a reliable internet connection. Registration is mandatory and should be completed before the meeting date.
